text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"></span></p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><font face="Arial">The monitoring program will involve field collection of red berry (Vaccinium vitis-idaea) samples to provide detailed background levels for metals in vegetation and to determine natural variability in these values.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>Red berries are harvested and consumed by Inuit and Innu.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">  </span>As well, the berries are consumed by various grazing species of land mammals. The plant occurs within the Project area, commonly on exposed hills which could be expected to be subject to dust fall from mine and mill operations. The berries from single bushes will be collected, packaged and labeled as discrete samples. Collected berries will be unwashed. Sample collection should occur on dry days, with no precipitation for at least two days.</font></span></p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="'font-family:" "Arial","sans-serif";'></span></p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="'font-family:" "Arial","sans-serif";'><font size="3">QA/QC Sampling Requirements</font></span></strong></p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="'font-family:" "Arial","sans-serif";'></span></p><p style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-align: justify;"><span style="'font-family:" "Arial","sans-serif";'><font size="3">Quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) will include the collection of quality control samples at a minimum total frequency of 10%.
