Scope of work:

 

 

  • Contractor is responsible to provide all labour, project management and supervision, quality control, specialty PPE, and all other items necessary to complete pole line inspections, repairs, installations and maintenance on existing and future systems located at Voisey’s Bay. Unless other wises specified in the contents of this Scope of Work.

 

  • All work required by this specification is to be completed by qualified, competent workers.  Contractor is to provide all documentation pertaining to the qualifications of its people at the request of the Company.

 

  • Contractor will be required to install Gang switches a 25 KV Pole line.  Our current needs included installing; one (1) just past Dyno Noble on the Port Pole Line, one each (1) to be installed just before the Incinerator on the Port Pole Line and   one (1) each to be installed between the load break switch at the end of tunnel and the air strip or at the end of the air strip.  Installation of cross arms, insulators, ground mats, ground rods and other associated pole line hardware to be included.  Additional gang switches maybe required to be installed if required in the future.

  • Contractor to provide complete materials list required to perform work and suggested spare parts list to have on hand to perform the work. In accordance with Section 7.1 Technical tendering submittal procedure.

  • Specialty tools required to perform the work to be provided by Contractor if needed. All other equipment and material to be provide by company unless otherwise specified. Contractor to provide a list of required equipment and tools to be provided by company. All tools and equipment to be returned to Company once completed. Specialty tools provided by Contractor to remain property of Contractor. In accordance with Section 7.1 Technical tendering submittal procedure.
