Contract Scope

    1. Detailed Scope of Work to be performed by the contractor shall include the following:

      1. Perform HP washing/cleaning of Flotation Cells, launders, cyclone packs, pipelines, tanks, pump boxes and any other equipment deemed necessary by the Vale Maintenance Department.  Newfoundland/Labrador Confined Space/Fall Arrest/First Aid trained personnel is mandatory.  Proof of certification is required.

      2. Perform Rodding Truck work scope of pipelines as required throughout the Voisey’s Bay mine site.

      3. Provide support while off-site in the development of any required JHA or technical information

      4. All work required by this specification is to be completed by qualified and competent workers.  Contractor is to provide all documentation pertaining to the qualifications of its personnel.  Documentation of specific safety training and usage for HP Washers – 10,000PSI will be required to be provided by supplier.

      5. All site safety regulations to be complied with throughout the duration of this contract.  Contractor is to ensure work areas are kept tidy, free of clutter and accessible to the company personnel.

      6. The contractor shall take its day to day direction from the Company’s Maintenance Department, site manager or designate.

      7. Complete preparation, storage and all maintenance of HP Washer Equipment.

      8. Provision of a HP Washer.  Approximate Specifications. 10,000PSI; 8GPM: 600VOLT: To be a structured rental agreement, itemized separately.  The unit may remain for extended periods on site.  Rental agreement to include all maintenance and repairs.  Delivery by March 2022
