Vale Newfoundland & Labrador Limited (Vale NL) are inviting submissions of an Expression of Interest for a potential opportunity to support the Voisey’s Bay Mine Expansion Project in Voisey’s Bay, NL

Scope of Work

Ocean Transport: Provision of barges and vessels to provide transport of materials from the project consolidation yard and designated alternate locations to Voisey's Bay. This will be an 'all-in' contract that will include all the required support activities for vessel and barge charters, including Marine Surveyor at the ports of loading and port of discharge as well as stevedoring services for discharge at Voisey’s Bay. There will also be a requirement for this contract to include coordination with the heavy haul contractor for the transportation of over-dimensional equipment (complete with over-dimensional cargo) from designated ports of loading to Voisey's Bay.
