<p>Vale Newfoundland & Labrador Limited (Vale NL) are inviting submissions of an Expression of Interest for a potential opportunity to support the Voisey’s Bay Mine Expansion Project in Voisey’s Bay, NL.</p><p>The Discovery Hill ore body is a copper nickel sulphide deposit. It is one of four mineral resources ore bodies located in the Voisey Bay area, however, it has never been mined due to its lower nickel grades and difficult mineralogy.  There is potentially an opportunity to mine several million tonne of ore from this orebody from 2021 to 2025 which will be the subject of the study.  </p><p>The Purpose of the Discovery Hill FEL 2 Study is to:</p><p>Provide economically mineable solutions and opportunities for Vale to demonstrate a successful FEL 2 Study for Discovery Hill.</p><p>To create advanced engineering design as required by the Project Execution Plan.</p><p>Prepare a quality Basis of Design document at FEL 2 level.</p><p>Develop the SOW for the FEL 3 Study.</p><p>Produce development, construction and production schedules, capital cost and operating cost estimates to a FEL 2 level of accuracy and to prepare a detailed construction plan.</p><p>Provide recommendations and engineering design that can readily advance into the next stage, FEL 3 level Study. </p>
