Contract Scope
Vale Newfoundland & Labrador Limited (Vale NL) are inviting submissions of an Expression of Interest for a potential opportunity to support the Voisey’s Bay Mine Expansion Project in Voisey’s Bay, NL
The Voisey’s Bay Mine Expansion Project will require two (2) carriers and cassettes for mounting a Dyno Nobel DynoMiner Advance 2X emulsion pumping loader for underground lateral development. This carrier and cassette shall come equipped and fully integrated with the DynoMiner Advance 2X loader upon delivery. Also required is (1) carrier and cassette for mounting a Dyno Nobel DynoMiner Profile production bulk emulsion pumping loader for underground bulk mining. This carrier and cassette shall come equipped and fully integrated with the DynoMiner Profile loader upon delivery. These carriers shall provide: heavy duty frame construction; four wheel drive; heavy duty power train with power shift transmission; Tier 4 final diesel engine; enclosed cabin; heavy carrying capacity; and be designed for use in an underground mining environment according to Newfoundland and Labrador mining regulations.
The carrier manufacturer shall correspond with Dyno Nobel for design of the cassette and carrier for underground, and shall supply the cassette to Dyno Nobel for mounting the loader. Dyno Nobel will return the cassette with loader to the carrier manufacturer for final assembly of the integrated units.
